Discipleship Group Debate
Join us in the Main Sanctuary on Sunday, November 3 at 6pm for a special event. Our Discipleship Group will present a dynamic conversation on an important social topic in our society today, Same Sex Marriage.
Women’s Group Study
This session will be a study through the book of Ruth and we will be meeting every other Tuesday at 6:30pm in the Main Sanctuary.
There will be a journal to purchase for $15.
We are excited and looking forward to what the Lord has in store for us together!
Moms in Prayer

Faith Foundations
New to the faith? Re-newed to faith? Do you have a desire to solidify your walk with Christ in His foundational truths from His Word? Join us every other Wednesday night from 7pm-8:30pm as we dig into God’s Word and His truth with Jon Kirby and Ozzie Marquez.
Ventura County Rescue Mission Graduation
Join us as at the outdoor stage for fellowship, testimonies, and tacos we celebrate the Rescue Mission Program graduates. The Ventura County Rescue Mission offers an extensive drug and alcohol recovery program. It is a free, 10-month, Christian-based, residential recovery program that provides Biblically-based structure and applied discipline for living an overcoming life.
Surf Camp
Join us at Mondo’s Beach this summer for fellowship and free surf lessons. Surfboards and wet-suits will be provided or you can bring your own. Four one-hour lesson slots will be available from 11am to 3pm. We will have an end of season Luau on August 31. Contact John Spruill at 805-889-6141 for information or to schedule a session.

School of Ministry/Faith Foundations Informational Meeting
Greetings Calvary Ventura disciples!
Beginning in April, Calvary Ventura is offering 2 very rich and very powerful discipleship classes:
1. FAITH FOUNDATIONS
A bi-weekly, 10-session class in which adult disciples of all ages and walks of life will grow together in their knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the essential doctrines of the Christian Faith. It’s on these solid and unchanging foundation stones that believers can build their lives with confident faith.
2. SCHOOL OF MINISTRY
A bi-weekly, 22 session class in which adult disciples of all ages and walks of life will earnestly and intentionally pursue God together. They will experience a culture of discipleship that harkens back to the early church. Through this collective journey, they will be equipped for a fruit-filled life of serving God in the power of His Holy Spirit.
