TELEION (previously referred to as “School Of Ministry”)
Hey Calvary Disciples!
I have a word for you! That word is “TELEION” (pronounced telee-on)
It’s a Greek word that the apostle Paul and others used in the New Testament that can be translated “mature” or “complete” or even “perfect”
FOR EXAMPLE:
“He (Jesus) is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature (teleion) in Christ.” Colossians 1:28
This verse articulates the desire of my heart for each and every disciple of Jesus that calls Calvary Ventura their home.
WHY AM I SHARING THIS WITH YOU???
Great question!!!
I share this with you because TELEION is the new name of what we have previously referred to as “School Of Ministry”
But this is just one of the changes that we’ve made to School Of Ministry. Other changes have been made in order to make this intentional discipleship ministry more accessible to more people while offering more teachers covering more topics.
The TELEION ministry is set to launch on Thursday evening, April 16th. So please join me and the other TELEION team leaders and see if this unique discipleship opportunity is for you.
