Moms in Prayer

Join us via Zoom Tuesdays either from 6am-7am or later in the morning from 10am-11am

Find community. Find purpose. We are mothers who, together, bring all our concerns before our Heavenly Father. In prayer, we know that we are not alone and this gives us reassurance and hope. Let us stand with you in prayer for your children and their schools. We are delighted to meet you!

For your convenience we have two prayer sessions on Tuesday mornings, 6am and 10am.

Outdoor Church

Join us as we gather outside in the church parking lot to worship our Lord Jesus outside in song, prayer and His Word.

Don’t forget your sunscreen, hats and water bottles along with your Bibles and chairs. We will be setting up a few EZ-ups for additional shade.

No registration is required, but we will continue to follow the CDC and state protocols recommending masks and social distancing for the health and well-being of our church family. For those staying home, we will be broadcasting live at 9:30AM

Where do we park?  There are two places to park:

  1. The majority of us will be parking in the Lassens parking lot (not the Deckers lot).
  2. We will have parking available in front of the church as shown in the smaller green area.  We ask that the six spaces closest to where we are having service be left for those with wheelchairs or walking difficulties.  At the Main Street end of our lot you will see signs for Bella Mucci Bridal Shop.  Please do not park there at this time.
  3. We will not to have “drive-in” style parking for our service.

Opportunities to serve include:

  • Worship/pulpit/technical setup.  We need a team of 6 to arrive at 7:30AM to help.  No experience necessary
  • Setting up EZ-ups, welcome/info table, tithing boxes.  We need a team of 4 to arrive at 8:00AM.
  • Ushers/greeters/parking attendants.  Beginning at 9:00AM, welcoming people and helping to ensure families are setting up their chairs with proper social distancing.
  • Prayer Team.  Available for those desiring prayer after service.
  • Breakdown/cleanup.  We need a team of 6 to stay about 1 hour after the end of service to put away our equipment, EZ-ups, stage, etc. from the parking.

Contact Pastor DanO (info@calvaryventura.org) to get plugged in.

Outdoor Church

Let’s Worship Together on Sunday!

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods. (Psalm 95:1-3)

Join us as we gather outside in the church parking lot to worship our Lord Jesus outside in song, prayer and His Word.

We will be having one service at 10AM for the entire church body.  No registration will be required, but we will continue to follow the CDC and state protocols recommending masks and social distancing for the health and well-being of our church family.  Seating will continue to be 6-feet apart by household as we were doing in the main sanctuary.

There will also be a small number of parking spaces available (5 or 6) if you would like to attend drive-in movie style.

Due to technical constraints, we will not be broadcasting live on Sunday morning at this time. However, we will still be recording the service and uploading it to our webpage, YouTube, and social media by Sunday evening for those who are unable to join us in person.

What should you bring?
Bring your Bibles, chairs, masks, coffee, and water bottles.  Bring your heart of worship and joy of His salvation!  Bring your cares and your burdens to leave at His feet! Since we will be outside, check the weather report before coming in case you need a jacket, sun protection, or anything else you need to sit comfortably and receive what the Lord has for you.

Where do we park?  There are three places to park:

  1. The majority of us will be parking in the Lassens parking lot (not the Deckers lot).
  2. For those with wheelchairs or walking difficulties, parking spaces will be reserved for you at the front of the church parking lot.
  3. There will be 5-6 spots available in the Deckers parking lot for those who are more comfortable staying in the car and attending service “drive-in movie” style.

How can you help/serve? Opportunities to serve include:

  • Team 1:  Worship/pulpit/technical setup.  We’ll need servants available to arrive at 7:30AM to help.  No experience necessary.
  • Team 2:  Setting up EZ-ups, welcome/info table, tithing boxes.  We will need this team to arrive at 8:45AM.
  • Team 3:  Ushers/greeters/parking attendants.  Beginning at 9:00AM, this team will welcome people and help to ensure families are setting up their chairs with proper social distancing.
  • Team 4:  We also need prayer warriors to be available for those desiring prayer after service.
  • Team 5:  Breakdown/cleanup.  This team will need to be available to stay about 1 hour after the end of service to bring our equipment, EZ-ups, etc. from the parking lot into the church.

Contact Pastor DanO (info@calvaryventura.org) if it’s on your heart to say, “Here I am Lord”

This is just the beginning!
“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19)

We fully believe that the Lord has something fresh, new, and radically different that He wants to do. He wants to work in us, through us, and with us not only as individuals, but also as a church family to let His light shine in the city of Ventura.  We pray you will join us on Sunday morning and continue with us in prayer for His direction, wisdom, and guidance as we open up our hearts and minds to what He has planned. Nevertheless, not our will but Yours Lord!
