Operation Christmas Child. Shoeboxes and more information are available at the back of the Main Sanctuary. Gift filled shoeboxes can be brought to the church on Sundays between Oct 19th through Nov. 16th.

Operation Christmas Child Collection Outreach, November 16-24 (times vary). This year we once again are blessed with the opportunity to co-labor with Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child ministry. Calvary Ventura will be a shoebox collection center for our area. We have the opportunity to minister to, pray for, and share the love of Christ with our community as they bring their shoeboxes to our church! Women’s Ministry Packing Party. Saturday, November 15, 9am-12pm.  Ladies, join us for breakfast, fellowship & fun as we pack Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes together! Helpful items to bring/donate: Wow Items for boys and girls, clothing, box fillers, puzzle games, books. Welcome to Calvary Lunch. November 16, After service. If you are relatively new to Calvary Ventura, you’re invited to join our pastoral staff for a special lunch held in your honor.  This will be a time to break bread, fellowship, answer questions and simply get to know each other a little better.  If you’d like to attend, please RSVP to info@calvaryventura.org. Nick & Dawn Afman, Bon Voyage Potluck! Sunday, November 16, 5pm.  Our beloved Nick & Dawn will be answering the call God has put on their lives as Chaplains for Samaritan’s Purse Ministries and moving to Alabama.  Please bring something to share as we celebrate them and send them off on their new journey with the Lord.

Women’s Ministry Testimony Night. Tuesday, November 18, 6:30pm. Ladies! Come join us on Tuesday, November 18 at 6:30pm in the Main Sanctuary for our “Testimony Night”. Bring a finger food or finger dessert to share and bring a friend!

Audience of One Church Christmas Party/Potluck. Sunday, December 7, 5pm. We’ll be gathering in the Main Sanctuary to share in fellowship, potluck and worship/Christmas carols. LIFE GROUPS

Jesus said, “…I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” This abundance Jesus spoke of is not abundant wealth or abundant possessions, it’s abundant fruitfulness! Jesus has come that we might bear abundant fruit for God’s glory (John 15:8). And just like any fruit bearing tree, in order to bear abundant fruit we need to be planted in the right soil containing the right nutrients and the right amount of exposure. This is precisely what a Life Group is designed to offer, the goal being that we would all bear abundant spiritual fruit for God’s glory! Click here for more info
